Windblown and lugging a suitcase full of surprises, Smokey Binion Jr. arrives at the Amarillo Civic Center parking lot, full of cars but absent of spectators for his upcoming performance. The narration begins over an instrumental score of mixed moods as he compares the excitement and misfortune of performing to a Ricky Nelson song, thus setting the unorthodox stage for a walk and talk with an optimistic person participating and working with his community as an Elvis Tribute Artist and employee of the city of Stinnett, Texas.
